Available below are the guidelines and forms for the new standardized permitting system for: oversize and overweight loads, mobile homes and building movement.

Please print out (forms cannot be filled out online) the appropriate form(s), fill in the required information and mail, email, or fax with the appropriate fee(s), to the county road commission along your travel path.

PERMIT FEE POLICY
Pursuant to Act No. 212, Public Acts of 1980 (MCLA 224.196), which establishes the right of Road Commissions to require permits and to charge fees to recoup costs actually incurred, and pursuant to the Public Hearing held on 12/18/02, the Wexford County Road Commission establishes the following fee schedule. The following schedule is not meant to be all inclusive in recoupment of costs or scope of fees covered, and, therefore, may be increased to cover actual costs incurred.

UTILITY

Utility Blanket Permit (covers maintenance of existing utilities in ROW)…………………….. $100.00
Utility pole and/or anchor replacement and new pole and anchor (under blanket permit)…………………….. $10.00
Utility underground installations, including service, lineal construction (under blanket permit) $.05/ft… (Min) $25.00 … (Max) $200.00

CONSTRUCTION

Commercial Driveway – Per Site…………………….. $100.00
Residential Driveways – Repair, replace, upgrade, pave existing, or construct new…………………….. $25.00

Road Crossing – Open Cut – Paved Road (Includes utility services)* …………………….. $100.00

*Open cuts not part of public utility work will require $1,000.00 Cash Bond per cut or minimum $5,000.00 Performance Bond.
