Notification will be released via the Michigan County Road Association app and website as soon as the status changes.
Please download the app and subscribe to Wexford County to receive up to date notifications.
Once the app has been downloaded, a map of Michigan will be available. Click on Wexford County, then click subscribe and enter your email.
You will then receive an email to confirm. Once confirmed you will begin receiving notification of any status changes.

Seasonal Weight Restrictions (Frost Laws)
RULES: ALL ROADS IN WEXFORD COUNTY MAY BE TRAVELED DURING FROST LAW SEASON IF THE FOLLOWING PROVISIONS ARE MET:
ALL TYPES OF LOADS MUST BE REDUCED BY 35% FROM LEGAL AXLE LOADS DURING FROST LAW SEASON.
SPEEDS SHALL BE REDUCED TO 35 M.P.H. DURING FROST LAW SEASON FOR A TRUCK WITH A GROSS WEIGHT OF 10,000 POUNDS OR MORE, A TRUCK-TRACTOR WITH A TRAILER, OR A COMBINATION OF THESE.

EXCEPTIONS: Although exempt by law from seasonal weight restrictions, milk haulers are not exempt from applying for a permit with the Road Commission. Milk Haulers must identify haul routes that will be used during frost law season.
